Recently Released Critical Drivers - Read Only.Recently Released Service Tips - Read Only. You should be able to go into generic monitors and select something "Digital Flat Panel 1280x720." Hopefully this will force a lower resolution. If the above doesn't work, try using the advanced settings to manually select a driver from the built-in list.

If you want large icons and text in the desktop, you could increase display scaling in that page you posted to a higher value like 125%. The discussions I've read show that these monitors used to be even more troublesome so perhaps it's a good thing there is a working driver for it, albeit providing a single resolution. Try changing the "render scale" to a lower value like 75% if there's such a setting. It looks like you want a lower resolution to improve frame rates in games, right? It's weird that even the games don't allow you to change the resolution.

In the driver tab, update driver, say you want to manually search then point the installer to the folder. Go to the advanced settings page either on that screenshot you posted or through device manager. Extract them or run the exe if it has one then cancel and look for the temp folder.

I would suggest trying out the Windows 8 drivers (don't install them, unless the following doesn't work). Looking at Dell's driver page and some online discussions, it appears Dell somehow managed to make some of their monitors incompatible with Windows 10! (A bit ironic, considering Lenovo somehow managed to make this laptop difficult to boot with anything but Windows 10)
